Ben Affleck has had considerable success at an early age. He started out starring in the children's PBS series The Voyage of the Mimi, and went on to be featured in several independent films. In 1998, he won a screenwriting Academy Award for Good Will Hunting with his longtime friend and colleague Matt Damon. He continues to act in independents and has moved into big budget action films as well.
