Over 80 years after the height of his career, Charles Chaplin is still recognized as a filmmaking genius. Hi character of the little tramp is recognized the world over. He was one of the founders of United Artists, along with Douglas Fairbanks, Mary Pickford and D.W. Griffith, in 1919, and his first full-length feature, The Kid, came out in 1921.
