This talented actor got his start in the burgeoning Chicago theatre scene in the early 1980s, where he founded the Remains Theatre ensemble and is a member of the renowned Steppenwolf Theater Company. He made his first nationwide splash in the excellent mini-series Fatal Vision, and has gone on to star in several television series and both independent and feature films, all the while maintaining an active presence in Chicago theatre. His versatility shows in his ability to effortlessly portray such diverse characters as General George Custer, The Brady Bunch's Mike Brady, real-life astronaut Ed Mitchell and American Gothic's devil-sheriff, Lucas Buck.
