The son of Kirk Douglas, Michael Douglas first came to fame as Inspector Steve Keller on the television series The Streets of San Francisco. He soon moved into producing, including the award-winning One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest and, in the 1980s, emerged as one of Hollywood's favorite leading men. He won an Oscar for his performance in Wall Street.
