Brenda Bakke has appeared in a wide variety of films and television productions, but is probably best known for her appearance as Lana Turner in L.A. Confidential and her multi-dimensional portrayal of schoolteacher Selena Coombs in the television series American Gothic. An Oregon native, she has also appeared on stage, including Off-Broadway, to rave reviews. The Quickie (2001) as Jane The Fixer (1998) as C.J.
